My little one man business on a bicycle has been nominated in the 'Best Independent Business' section of the 2024 Lewisham Business Awards. It came as a surprise to me and I was very happy and excited when I got the email from Lewisham Council. It's really great that Ben's Bicycles has been recognised as a business that the people of Lewisham appreciate and value.

I am a Cytech 2 qualified mechanic. This is the industry standard here in the UK. I have worked for local bicycle businesses for the last 4-5 years. Ben's Bicycles is a 2022 startup. I use my yellow Danish cargo bike as my workshop, It has no motor, just me pushing my 60kg of tools. When you hire me you're supporting a very environmentally friendly business.
